Hugh is assisting with the preparation of the Planning Assessment Report, a critical deliverable for the project. Several planning reports have been prepared by various agencies in the past. His tasks includes reviewing available documents/resources and identify potential alignment and deficiencies between existing federal, state and county planning studies/assessments. Hugh is assisting with preparation of the Planning Assessment Report, an existing conditions report that will eventually support the environmental review process. He is also actively involved in the initial state of the Environmental Assessment process, preparing the Earl Consultation Package. (3)BRIEF DESCRIPTION(Brief scope,size,cost,etc.)AND SPECIFIC ROLE ® Check if project performed with current firm The City&County of Honolulu is proposing a new gravity sewer line to convey sewer flows between Pearl City Pump Station and the Waipahu Pump Station, a distance of about 2.2 miles. The sewer line is proposed to be constructed using the micro-tunneling method. Hugh is assisting with the preparation and processing of the Environmental assessment, pursuant to Chapter 343, HRS. In addition, he coordinated early consultation with various federal, state and county agencies; elected officials; and stakeholders to solicit comment and areas of concern. As a result Hugh is involved in various aspects, including SMA compliance, Shoreline Setback considerations, and application for a public sidewalk across Poipu Road.
