He <br /> is a Project Engineer responsible for planning and design for a wide variety of <br /> civil engineering projects on the Island of Hawaii and other geographic areas <br /> where SSFM currently provides planning and engineering services. <br /> REPRESENTATIVE PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br /> : - • <br /> , <br /> Project Engineer for the West Hawaii Civic Center project. This was a <br /> design-build project for a new Civic Center consisting of eight (8) office <br /> SSFM International buildings and one (1) parking garage on the 7 acre parcel located at the <br /> corner of Kealakehe Parkway and Ane Keohokalole Parkway in Kailua- <br /> Kona Hawaii. Estimated construction cost$52 million. <br /> EDUCATION - Mamalahoa Highway Bypass Road and Napo`opo`o Road Mamalahoa <br /> B.S., Civil Engineering, Highway Intersection Improvements. Project Manager. SSFM provided <br /> University of Texas at Civil Engineering services to revise, update, and repackage the previously <br /> Arlington, 2003 approved Plans, Specifications and estimates (PS&E) for the portion of <br /> the Mamalahoa Highway Bypass from Halekii to Napo`opo`o, as well as <br /> REGISTRATION the Napo`opo`o Intersection PS&E. The Mamalahoa Highway Bypass <br /> Hawaii, Civil work included updating the topographic survey for construction previously <br /> Engineering #C-13059, performed, updating earthwork quantities, revising drainage details, <br /> 2008 adding an alternative pavement section for concrete, and adding <br /> Texas, Professional additional improvements to accommodate property owners. The <br /> Engineer#100187, 2007 Napo`opo`o Intersection work included that above in addition to revising <br /> the intersection geometry to increase left turn storage. Estimated <br /> construction cost$25.5 million. <br /> Kapi`olani Street Extension, Lanikaula Street to Mohouli Street. Hilo, <br /> Hawaii. Project Manager. SSFM provided Environmental Documentation, <br /> Preliminary Planning and Design, and Final Design services. The Project <br /> consists of extending the existing Kapi`olani Street from Mohouli Street to <br /> Lanikaula Street. Project deliverables include an Environmental <br /> Assessment, Preliminary Engineering Reports and Plans, and <br /> Construction Drawings. Estimated construction cost$13 million. <br /> Keahuolu Phase 0 Roadway and Promenade Design. Kailua-Kona, <br /> Hawaii. Project Manager and Lead Civil Engineer. SSFM provided <br /> Environmental Documentation and Design services. Phase 0 of the <br /> project provides a new roadway, three new entrances to Kailua District <br /> Park, and a pedestrian and bike promenade. The improvements support <br /> the Kailua District Park and the Queen Lili`uokalani Trust Master Plans <br /> and include new pavements, raised sidewalks, shared use path, drainage <br /> improvements, intersection improvements, street lighting, landscaping, <br /> and new utility lines. Estimated construction cost$5 million. <br /> Kohala Ranch Community Association Pavement Assessment. Kohala, <br /> Hawaii. Project Manager/Project Engineer.
