<br /> Wainani Traub is associate project anthropologist at SWCA's Hawaii and Pacific Islands Office, who lives on Hawaii Island. She has four years of
<br /> professional and academic experience in historic preservation and cultural resource management with a focus in Hawaiian and Pacific history. A native
<br /> Hawaiian speaker, Ms. Traub possesses a deep understanding of Hawaiian culture and cultural values. She is equally experienced in undertaking

<br /> in the district of'Ewa,on the island of Oahu.As part of this support, SWCA archaeologists undertook archival research regarding the cultural history
<br /> and previous land use of the 211-acre Royal Kunia II residential development property.SWCA also conducted an archaeological field inspection of the
<br /> property.This archival research and field inspection were undertaken to address the potential impacts of the proposed development of the Royal Kunia

<br /> the guidelines established by the 2000 Hawaii Supreme Court decision and involve the identification of cultural, historical,and natural resources of value
