<br /> Julie Kramer is an Associate Project Archaeologist for SWCA's Honolulu office,where she writes and assists with reports and archaeology lab duties. She
<br /> also has experience managing multiple crews conducting all aspects of fieldwork, managing databases,and managing collections and archaeological labs.
<br /> She brings over 17 years of experience and training in data recovery,artifact analysis,faunal analysis,curation,and collections management.She has

<br /> La'i Ola".This project involves the construction of 450 temporary housing units for victims of the 2023 wildfires in Lahaina, Maui.The project area
<br /> comprises approximately 80 acres of former commercial sugar cane fields.To satisfy historic preservation review for the project, SWCA conducted
<br /> archaeological surveys of the areas to be impacted, monitored construction activities,and consulted regularly with the Hawaii State Historic

<br /> SWCA is preparing materials to initiate the historic preservation review process for a project under Hawaii Revised Statutes 6E-42.This effort includes
<br /> drafting a request for consultation letter to the SHPD,describing the project,and seeking guidance on the Archaeological Inventory Survey(AIS)
<br /> requirements.SWCA will develop an AIS strategy based on SHPD's guidance.The first phase involves preparing the HRS 6E Submittal Form with
<br /> required documentation,initiating consultation with the SHPD Archaeology Branch,and preparing a document detailing the proposed AIS testing
<br /> strategy. Following SHPD approval,SWCA will prepare a separate cost proposal for conducting the AIS fieldwork and reporting. Role:Archaeologist.

<br /> compliance process,SWCA is providing boots-on-the-ground support for needed archaeological monitoring of infrastructure repair and upgrade work.

<br /> was performed according to School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration(SITLA)and State Historic Preservation Office standards to identify
<br /> archaeological resources.SWCA documented the findings in a report summarizing resource types,artifacts,features, NRHP eligibility,and project-
<br /> related effects.The report was reviewed by Invenergy and submitted to SITLA,with spatial data withheld until approved for sharing. Role:Field Director,
