As a result of the fire, the high grass that formerly covered <br /> the area was burned off, revealing a large number of <br /> archaeological features. Queen Emma Land Company (QEL) <br /> approached SWCA to determine the best way to document <br /> these features while they were still clearly visible. SWCA <br /> conducted a UAV survey of the area and used the collected <br /> imagery to create a georeferenced orthomosaic map of the <br /> entire 360-acre parcel that was then made available online tortv <br /> QEL for use in post-fire recovery, restoration and future h..-ff. 4y: <br /> planning efforts.
