Commissioner Tavares added Commissioner Botelho had no objections to moving the proposed timeline, and the commission agreed to proceed with posting. NEW BUSINESS Discussion and possible action to forma Permitted Interaction Group (PIG) for the selection of the new Police Chief. DCC Salas-Ferguson advised that if the commission wishes to form a PIG to recommend interrogatory questions, they could do so at this meeting, have the PIG make recommendations at the next October meeting, and then have the commission make final decisions in November. He noted that HR would need to review the questions to ensure compliance with HR laws.
