What are the objectives of the proposed project? Choose only one category and use <br /> additional pages as needed. <br /> ❑� Management Planning ❑ Maintenance Activities and Public Education <br /> The objectives for the management planning portion of this project are as follows: <br /> - Hire a biologist or ecologist that is an expert in Native Hawaiian ecosystems. <br /> - Work with expert to identify and record native and innoculate species of plants present in the <br /> project area. <br /> - Identify native plants that are not present, and that would flourish in the project area and would <br /> benefit native wildlife. <br /> -Make a list of numbers of plants and species to be planted <br /> -Source native plants from Kalekekua forest nursery and put in order. <br /> -Plan to remove innoculates, plant natives, and monitor health of ecosystem with help of <br /> volunteers, and ecologist. <br /> FINAL 2026 Stewardship Grant Application,Page 4 of 13 <br /> 26-01 <br />
