G. MANAGEMENT/PRESERVATION PLANS REVIEWED (See Instructions. Use <br /> additional pages as needed.) <br /> 1. Please elaborate on how the proposed project activities align with existing plans, if there <br /> are existing plans. <br /> The Waikapuna Community Resource Management Plan and the Kaunamano Resources Stewardship <br /> Plan were completed in June 2023 and June 2025 respectively. The Ka'u Heritage Preserve Ranger <br /> Program will help to accomplish the stewardship goals listed in the management plan specifically those <br /> actions which cannot be achieved through community volunteers. These responsibilities include general <br /> property inspections and maintenance, resource monitoring, assisting with public access and education, <br /> public safety and wildfire prevention.
