>> Create a project fact sheet with map to facilitate discussions with the community <br /> >> Coordinate and facilitate two community meetings(one in person and one virtual) <br /> Coordinate and facilitate four focus group meetings(in person and virtual) <br /> Schedule and conduct one on one or small group community consultations,specifically interviews <br /> with descendants/cultural practitioners(up to 30 oral history interviews) <br /> Conduct stewardship planning outreach and questionnaires(up to ioo participants) <br /> Task 4 — Data Integration and Report Preparation <br /> Develop strategies for the conservation, preservation and protection of the historic, cultural, <br /> agricultural, natural, marine, scenic, open space, fresh water, and native and endemic plant and <br /> animal habitat values (together, "the Conservation Values") as defined in the Grant of <br /> Conservation Easement Agreement. The plan will also include strategies to address the following <br /> priorities: <br /> o a)restoration,to the extent applicable and appropriate, of any archaeological, cultural,or <br /> historic features that may be currently known or discovered in the future, <br /> o b) the encouragement and propagation,where appropriate, of native and endemic plant <br /> and animal species, <br /> o c) the reception of and protocols regarding Hawaiian cultural practitioners who wish to <br /> access the Property, <br /> o d)the education of trail users on the Alaloa entering on foot, <br /> o e)the management of community access to the Property, <br /> o f)the coordination of educational access days, <br /> o g)guidelines and standards for the possible establishment in the future of any cultural or <br /> agricultural structures, <br /> o h)the maintenance of existing roads,trails,and utilities; and for any necessary additional <br /> roads,trails,utilities, and fire breaks, <br /> o i) Fire Prevention and Management. <br /> Evaluate public access,fishing/gathering,pedestrian/recreational trail,and ranching uses on the <br /> property and address impacts on the Coservation Values. <br /> Propose ideas to promote ancestral values to users and ways to maintain sense of place and <br /> balance.
