In <br /> addition, other individuals and organizations with demonstrated legal, economic or historic <br /> preservation interest will also be asked to respond to the Section 106 notice/advertisement. <br /> HDOT is seeking SHPO concurrence as to the proposed plan for public review and consultation. <br /> Request for Comment on the APE <br /> We would like to invite you to comment on the proposed APE. <br /> The proposed project is located in Honomu on Hawaii Island. The APE is an approximately <br /> 1,059-foot-long stretch along Hawaii Belt Road across the existing Paheehee Stream Bridge and <br /> is roughly 167 feet wide throughout its length. Please refer to the enclosed map of the APE. The <br /> area of the APE is approximately 4.26 acres. <br /> All staging and storage will take place within the APE that is illustrated on the enclosed map. <br /> Identification of Historic Properties within the APE <br /> We welcome any information you may have on historical and cultural sites that have been <br /> recorded in or which you may have knowledge of within the proposed APE. In addition, if you <br /> are acquainted with any persons or organization that is knowledgeable about the proposed APE, <br /> or any descendants with ancestral, lineal or cultural ties to or cultural knowledge and/or <br /> historical properties information of or concerns for, and cultural or religious attachment to the <br /> proposed project area, we would appreciate receiving their names and contact information within <br /> 30 days of notice. <br />
