Kitajima and Program Director Keith T. Matsumoto, PICHTR <br /> continues to build on its 40-year history of advancing innovation, technology deployment, and <br /> workforce development across Hawai'i. Our work bridges community needs with practical solutions, <br /> aligning with County priorities in sustainability, economic development, education, and technology. <br /> PICHTR's 2023 and now 2025 Waipahu High School Smart Intersection /Campus project is to <br /> demonstrate the integration of advanced digital infrastructure,Al-based Video Analytics for traffic <br /> safety, and data-driven campus management tools to support students, educators, and the community. <br /> PICHTR collaborated with Hawai'i Department of Transportation and NEC, and again on the Western <br /> Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (WASHTO) Annual Conference in Honolulu <br /> (2023), where PICHTR coordinated and showcased Waipahu High School students and their project. <br /> These efforts reflect PICHTR's commitment to serving as a trusted partner to government agencies, <br /> community organizations, and industry in developing resilient, forward-looking solutions that directly <br /> benefit Hawai'i's people. <br /> Respectfully, <br /> Ian Kitajima <br /> President <br />
