Commissioner Morifuji moved to ratify the Application for <br />Alteration Permit to include 1,306 square feet, approved by <br />Director Stacie Waltjen on January 15, 2026, of its Restaurant <br />General liquor license, Category 131, located at 79-7378 Hawaii Belt <br />Road, Kealakekua, Hawaii; Seconded by Commissioner Taniguchi. <br />Yadao: Any discussion of the motion? <br />There was no discussion by Commissioners. <br />Yadao: Hearing none, all those in favor say "Aye." <br />The Commissioners voted "Aye." <br />Yadao: Opposed "Nay." <br />There was no opposition by Commissioners. <br />Yadao: Motion is carried. <br />The motion was carried unanimously. <br />RETURNED TO THE ORDER OF BUSINESS <br />3. Kalikala Cuisine Inc., dba Kalikala Cuisine, approval of Application for <br />Change to a Class 2, Restaurant license from its Dispenser General liquor <br />(10:23 AM) license, Category B1, located at the Kona Banyan Court, 75-5695 Ali`i Drive, <br />Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. <br />Waltjen: Chair, we don't typically require the licensee to be present when we are <br />submitting a change from our restaurant to dispenser, we give them the option to show <br />up or not.
