J. Balberde-Kamalii mentioned that a student at Hilo High School, Maria Gacula,
researched, wrote, and produced a play on teen dating violence for her senior
project. M. Gacula premiered the play and it reached approximately 400 students.
The play was also videotaped. The response from the students was very
encouraging because they reacted emotionally. J. Balberde-Kamalii said they are
asking M. Gacula permission to get a copy of the video so they can forward it to the
National Senior Project Institute. CSW requested that J. Balberde-Kamalii obtain a
copy of the DVD for the committee to review and consider making it part of a
traveling ensemble next year.
B.Teens Internet Protection – A.
