Pung noted that each year, one of Karen Shindo’s students has won a prize <br />since the inception of the essay contest and requests that K. Shindo be <br />recognized next year. <br />4. Nova reported that she could not find a psychologist to do the depression <br />screening at the health fair. Community Reports <br />None. <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />A. Teen Dating Violence Prevention Peer Education Conference <br />K. Peters moved that the committee return $5,000 to the County Prosecutor’s Office. <br />D. Pung seconded the motion. The motion was passed. C. Kitaoka moved that the <br />remaining money be allocated to buy copies of teen conference videos and <br />distribute to the schools. <br />C. Kitaoka circulated the list of schools, agencies, and service providers to receive <br />Dr. J. Murray’s books. Members were asked to update the list. <br />2 <br /> <br />
