N. Kelly suggested planning a conference with Dr. J. Murray without support from the <br />Department of Education. K. Nova stated that the Soroptimist Club may provide funding <br />support. <br />A. Mejia suggested doing a conference on teens internet protection for parents at the <br />Aupuni Center conference room at no cost to the public and committee. She would also <br />like to have a conference in West Hawaii. She will follow up with the presenters to <br />determine how much time they would need for their presentation and whether <br />refreshments would be included. K.Nova mentioned that it’s hard to find a location for free <br />to congregate people in Kona. <br />E. Cabatu suggested that the radio ad for equal pay should be broadcast for a week on <br />three different stations. She will obtain quotes for the radio ads and what she would want <br />for the Health Fair. <br />CSW agreed that N. Kelly will revise the budget according to the committee’s discussion <br />and she will forward it to J. Viernes to email to CSW members. <br />The treasurer’s report was circulated. D.
