B. Teens Internet Protection – A. Mejia <br />A. Mejia reported that she shared information at the last meeting. The <br />Attorney Generals Office provides training to adults as well as to the schools. <br />K. Nova suggested that A. Mejia prepare a budget on her dream event. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />None. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />D. Pung announced that the UH Hilo Performing Arts Center will be presenting <br />the Fifth Annual Girls’ Day Diva Festival featuring the Society of Seven LV on <br />Monday, March 2, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. Profits from this fundraising event will <br />benefit the UH Hilo Performing Arts Center. There will be food sampling from <br />women owned/operated businesses. Tickets are $40 and can be ordered by <br />phone or online. <br />A. Next Meeting <br />The next meeting will be held on Friday, January 16, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. in <br />the Department of Parks and Recreation conference room located in Hilo. <br />B.
