Cabatu reported that the Hawaii State Commission on the Status of Women <br />(HSCSW) is planning to do the WAGE (Women are Getting Even) Club in April <br />2009. <br />B. Health <br />1. Women’s Health Month <br />E. Cabatu reported that next year’s Women and Family Wellness Day will be <br />held the ending of August. She asked CSW to provide more funding towards the <br />health fair next year. Next year’s event will be held at Liliuokalani Gardens. <br />K. Nova stated that there needs to be more presence from CSW such as a <br />banner showing who the committee is. However, it was pointed out that the <br />committee has a banner. <br />D. Nova reported that she has been invited to speak about the committee at the <br />Soroptimist meeting in two weeks.She asked CSW members to provide any <br />information they would like to pass on. <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />A. Teen Dating Violence Prevention Peer Education Conference <br />C. Kitaoka reported that she received an email from the Prosecutor’s Office about a <br />teen dating violence prevention campaign. A webcast is scheduled for October 22 <br />from 5 a.m. to 6 a.m. N. Kelly said they are checking to see if the webcast will be <br />re-recorded. <br />C.
