B. Math/Science Conference for 7th Grade Girls <br />M. Masunaga suggested that B. Green contact a council member who is willing to <br />give her the funding. B. Green needs topresent her proposal to the council member <br />and then to the full council. <br />S. Newland moved that B. Green take her proposal to her appropriate council <br />member and come back to CSW for letters of support. K. Nova seconded the <br />motion. The motion was passed. D. Pung offered to draft a letter to B. Green on <br />CSW€s recommendation. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />A. Guest Speaker  Councilmember Brenda Ford  Welcome <br />K. Nova will invite B. Ford to the March 16, 2007 meeting in Kona since she did not <br />attend today€s meeting. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />A. Next Meeting <br />The next meeting will be held on Friday, January 19, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. in the <br />Department of Liquor Control conference room in Hilo. <br />B. Schedules <br />C.
