Community Reports <br />None. <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />A. Resignations and Appointments <br />None. <br />B. Nominating Committee <br />The nominating committee will present a slate of officers at the May meeting. <br />C. Teen Dating Violence Prevention Initiative Training Program <br />C. Kitaoka reported that CSW has not received the bill from the Hilton Waikoloa yet. <br />She received an online evaluation which she will complete due to her experience <br />with hotel personnel. There were approximately 158 participants in attendance. The <br />Teen Alert Program have committed to go into the schools for students who <br />attended the conference as a follow up. They would like to schedule something next <br />year focusing more on the students rather than adults depending on availability of <br />funds. <br />C. Kitaoka mentioned that CSW will receive an additional $5,000 from <br />Councilwoman V. Isbell to cover unanticipated expenses for the conference. <br />D. GEMS Program <br />After some discussion, N. Kelly moved to approve the purchase of the t-shirts for the <br />GEMS Program. C. Kitaoka seconded the motion. The motion was passed. <br />E. Bullying The Next Step <br />D. Pung reported that she sent an email of a resolution on workplace bullying to <br />CSW members. She asked whether CSW would like to support this resolution. <br />After some discussion, K. Peters moved that D. Pung write a letter on behalf of CSW <br />supporting any resolution aiming to encourage awareness and education in the <br />workplace regarding bullying. C. Ka-ipo seconded the motion.
