Viernes thanked K. Peters for updating the directory. <br />J. Balberde-Kamalii said she agreed to pouch the directory to all the at-risk <br />counselors, school based therapists, and to the school administrators islandwide. <br />She will be responsible for distribution to the Department of Education. K. Peters <br />suggested that J. Balberde-Kamalii alsodistribute the directories to the PSAP <br />(primary school adjustment program) coordinators. The PSAP program services <br />25 to 50 students per semester. <br />The following members agreed to contact people at the following sites to see if <br />they would be able to distribute the directory within their organization: <br />Hilo Hospital (Social Services) – E. Takazawa <br />Kona Hospital – K. Peters <br />North Hawaii Community Hospital – E. Takazawa <br />Department of Human Services – E. Takazawa <br />Kau Hospital – C. Ka-ipo <br />C. Ka-ipo and E. Takazawa will review the list and determine the distribution of <br />the directory to the various organizations. <br />2.First Female Booklet <br />Tabled. <br />3.Essay Contest <br />J. Balberde-Kamalii reportedthat she received a verbal confirmation from the <br />complex area superintendent. The packet will be distributed September 15 and <br />the essay contest will be held from October 1 to December 1, 2005. The awards <br />2 <br /> <br />
