Masunaga moved to approve the agenda as submitted. K. Peters seconded the <br />motion. The motion was passed. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />M. Masunaga made correction to the minutes on page 4, second paragraph: Voluntary <br />inception should be changed to voluntary establishment. <br />M. Masunaga moved to accept the April 15, 2005 minutes as corrected. J. Coburn <br />seconded the motion. The motion was passed. <br />TREASURERS REPORT <br />The treasurers report was circulated. <br />J. Viernes reported that the treasurers report reflects the $25,000 appropriated for the <br />Teen Dating Violence Prevention Initiative TrainingProgram and the GEMS Program. <br />J. Coburn moved to accept the treasurers report. C. Ka-ipo seconded the motion. The <br />motion was passed. <br />STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />T.Malonestatedthatsheisaculturalanthropologistandattendedthemeetingsince <br />she wished to find out whats happening on the island for the betterment of women, <br />sinceshehasalwaysbeeninterestedinthepublicwelfareofwomen.Sheisa <br />Hawaii County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer <br /> <br />
