Pung will send a thank you letter to Councilwoman V. Isbell. C. Michigan Womens CommissionNewsletter REPORTS A. Education 1. Urgent Services Directory K. Peters reported that she has completed the second half of the directory. E. Takazawa will e-mail an addition into the directory to K. Peters. J. Coburn circulated a booklet called A Rainbow of Resources for Big Island Families Spring 2005 for CSWs review to determine whether the committee wanted to combine the Urgent Services Directory or collaborate on distribution. She will pursue the distribution list of the booklet if CSW decides to combine it. K. Peters said that the booklet is appropriate for providers on the island and the urgent services directory is more client oriented. However, it would be nice to have the directory as an insert with the booklet. P. Newland mentioned that the Police Department in Puna would like to have the directory regularly for the police officers cars. Other interested organizations are the WIC Program and the food bank. The revised directory will go out to bid in July 2005. 2. First Female Booklet No report. 3.
