Education <br />1. Urgent Services Directory <br />E. Takazawa reported that she selected watermelon pink as the color for the next <br />directory. <br />K. Peters offered to finish updating the second half of the directory for D. Pung <br />since K. Peters already completed the first half. <br />E. Takazawa and C. Ka-ipo will work on contacting the different <br />organizations/agencies on the distribution list next week to inquire if they were <br />able to pass out the directories and if the amount they requested was sufficient. <br />2. First Female Booklet <br />J. Coburn reported that she has no update since she has been unable to do <br />much work. She will have some proposed names at the next meeting. <br />3. Essay Contest <br />J. Balberde-Kamalii reported that she is gearing up for next year’s contest. The <br />winning essays will be published in the Hawaii Tribune Herald pending <br />availability of space. <br />2 <br /> <br />
