from the concert cannot go directly to CSW. The committee may support the Kahilu <br />Theatre raising the funds which may be earmarked for a particular organization. <br />M. Masunaga indicated that committee members could participate as individuals if <br />Kahilu Theatre Foundation decides to proceed with the concert. She will encourage <br />the Friends of the Drug Court to see if they want to add their names as participants. <br />Other possible participants are Barry Taniguchi and the managers of Wal Mart and <br />Kmart in Kona. <br />C. Guest Speakers <br />M. Masunaga reported that she invited Council Chairman Stacy Higa as a guest <br />speaker for the July meeting. <br />E. Takazawa reported that she also invited Belinda Cole from the Bay Clinic for the <br />July meeting. <br />P. Newland suggested inviting Nathalie Jensen, photographer of contemporary <br />Hawaiian women, and her mother as potential guest speakers in the future. <br />D. Bylaws <br />None. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />A. Next meeting <br />The next meeting will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. in the <br />Kahilu Theatre in Waimea. M. Masunaga offered to invite Representative Cindy <br />Evans as the guest speaker. <br />The June meeting is tentatively scheduled for Friday, June 17, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. in <br />Kona.
