<br />MINUTES <br />COMMITTEE ON THE STATUS OF WOMEN <br />Friday, October 22, 2004, 10:00 a.m. <br />North Hawaii Community Hospital, Lucys Conference Room <br />PRESENTEXCUSED <br />Laura Guluzzy, ChairParadise Newland <br />Dawn Pung, Vice-Chair <br />JoAnne Balberde-Kamalii, Secretary <br />Ellen Takazawa, Treasurer <br />Carol Kitaoka <br />Margaret Masunaga <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 10:16 a.m. <br />ROLL CALL <br />A quorum was present. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />D. Pung moved to approve the agenda as submitted. J. Balberde-Kamalii seconded the <br />motion. The motion was passed. <br />L. Guluzzy said that she will be tabling some items from the agenda since CSW has a <br />luncheon guest speaker. Those items will be discussed at the next meeting when CSW <br />has more time. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />J. Balberde-Kamalii moved to approve the September 17, 2004 minutes. D. Pung <br />seconded the motion. The motion was passed. <br />TREASURERS REPORT <br />The treasurers report was circulated. <br />D. Pung moved to accept the treasurers report. E.
