Balberde-Kamalii reported that there will be a 2004 International Womens <br />Leadership Conference to be held on November 17, 18, and 19 at the Hilton <br />Hawaiian Village on Oahu. P. Newland offered to email information on the <br />conference to CSW members within the next few days. <br />E. Takazawa asked if CSW will be sending representatives to the opening of the <br />legislature. P. Newland explained how important for CSW to attend and lobby our <br />legislators for issues that the committee would like them to support. <br />P. Newland mentioned that a Make a Difference Day event will occur on October 16 <br />in Pahoa. Secondly, We Stand for the Children will be having a big event at <br />Mooheau Bandstand on October 16 in Hilo. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />A.
