NEW BUSINESS <br />A. New Committees <br />Deferred to planning session. <br />B. Sponsorships and Co-Sponsorships <br />P. Newland reported that she is gathering the people and resources to do the <br />mentor program for the Pahoa area in October. <br />There were no requests from organizations for sponsorships and co-sponsorships. <br />C. Guest Speakers <br />Deferred to planning session. <br />D.Training Meeting <br />Training meeting to be held after lunch. <br />E. Hawaii County Womens Hall of Fame ‚ Dinner <br />L. Guluzzy reviewed a proposal for CSW to host a Hawaii County Womens Hall of <br />Fame dinner. Possible dates are the first week in October or June 2005. <br />L. Guluzzy moved that CSW host a Hawaii County Womens Hall of Fame dinner <br />with the date pending. P. Newland seconded the motion. The motion was passed. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />A. Next meeting <br />The next meeting will be held on Friday, September 17, 2004, at 10 a.m. in Hilo. <br />Location to be announced. <br />B. Schedules <br />L. Guluzzy will be unable to attend the September meeting. <br />C. Other <br />J. Viernes announced that the Hamakua Health Center will be having their Ladies <br />Night Out event on Friday, September 3, 2004, from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. <br />E.
