Shirachi Gonsalves moved to approve the agenda as submitted. P. Newland <br />seconded the motion. The motion was passed. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />D. Davis moved to approve the March 20, 2003 minutes. M. Andrews seconded <br />the motion. The motion was passed. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT <br />The treasurer's report was circulated. <br />C. Hara reported that the only anticipated expense not included in the treasurer's <br />report is the First Female Booklet. She suggested planning a retreat once the <br />final vacancy is filled. <br />S. Shirachi Gonsalves expressed interest in attending at least one Hawaii State <br />Commission on the Status of Women (HSCSW) meeting on Oahu. <br />P. Newland moved to accept the treasurer's report. M. Andrews seconded the <br />motion. The motion was passed. <br />STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />M. Lake reported that the UHH Women's Center submitted a grant for the <br />coordinator response team to be formed at the university. The project is called <br />H.E.A.R.T. (higher education aÒole response team). The $400,000 grant was <br /> <br />
