MS. WONG: <br /> Third committee is Technology Recommendations and Adoption, Eileen <br />and Marilyn. Marilyn is not here. <br />MS. O’HARA: <br /> Marilyn and I were not able to meet this time either. We did <br />communicate by email. I had made a recommendation about developing a matrix so <br />that we could analyze the comments that we’ve received so far from department heads <br />and other individuals in the county. And I’m working on doing that myself just to <br />demonstrate what the concept is. We have some recommendations on meetings. I’m <br />not really sure what her schedule is at this point and when she’ll be available again. But <br />we need to schedule a couple of meetings. <br />MS. GARSON: <br /> Do you want to report, she has, you have meetings with people within <br />the county scheduled? <br />MS. O’HARA: <br /> Yes. <br />MS. GARSON: <br /> Okay. <br />MS. O’HARA: <br /> She had suggested that we meet with the head of Data Systems. That <br />was where she wanted to start. <br />DISCUSSION REGARDING APPROACH TO TAKE TO TIMELY ACCOMPLISH <br />MANDATE OF THE COST OF GOVERNMENT COMMISSION <br />MS. WONG: <br /> So moving on to item six, Discussions Regarding Approach To Take To <br />Timely Accomplish Mandate of the Cost of Government Commission. Comments on <br />that? I’ll start. One of the reasons on our committee report that I put who we’re meeting <br />with so that we’re not asking to meet, different committees asking to meet with the same <br />person. If the other committees would like to maybe participate when we meet with <br />people on the 12th. <br />MS. GARSON: <br /> And that would be a problem. <br />MS. O’HARA: <br /> That would be a problem? <br />MS. GARSON: <br /> If you want more than your committee to be at the meeting, you have to <br />do it then invite them to the commission meeting so that everybody can discuss it. <br />MS. WONG: <br /> Okay, thank you for clarifying it. <br />MS. GARSON: <br /> But that’s something that you should discuss now.If there is any <br />particular department or department head that you want to come to or employee that <br />you want to all ask questions, then to invite them to be at one of these meetings would <br />be the proper thing to do. <br />MS. WONG: <br /> Are there any other department heads or any of the responses that came <br />in that you would like to ask to speak besides Scott Leonard’s? <br />8 <br /> <br />
