CALL TO ORDER <br />The Chair called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM JULY 20, 2006 MEETING <br />Motion and Vote: Mr. Joseph moved to accept and file the minutes, Ms. Provalenko <br />seconded the motion, and all members voted aye. <br />3. STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />There were no members of the public present. <br />4. APPROVAL OF ADDENDUM AND /OR SUPPLEMENTAL AGENDA <br />There was no addendum or supplemental agenda. <br />5. PRESENTATION AND QUESTION /ANSWER SESSION BY THE POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT <br />Harry Kubojiri introduced himself as the deputy police chief of the Hawaii County <br />Police Department. He handed out copies of the Police Department's August 3, 2006, response <br />to the COGC's letter of April 10, 2006. <br />
