Î Poster competition project. Karen has a list of all the Schools <br />island-wide. ÐWhat does family violence mean to me?Ñ a question <br />students. There needs to be a discussion on the theme, age group defined, and <br />set dates for the project, coordinate with schools, get kids involved island-wide, <br />obtain radio ads, seeking announcements and printing donated, split the island <br />up between all of commissioners to canvass Î appointments with art teachers <br />and councilors. Results from students drawing exercise may create <br />psychological affects on students so councilors need to be invol <br />have the information, which will be given to students regarding family violence <br />approved by the commissioners. Alice Moon - there is a Ðdomestic harmony <br />poster programÑ planned by (Paradise) another organization planned this year <br />and we can possibly network or partner with them. Karen K to follow-up. <br />Timetable could be - finalized this in August with the theme, group defined and <br />set dates; September contest, and October winners for domestic violence <br />awareness month. Alice Moon Î offered the DVIAT public awareness committee <br />to assist in this project. Karen K. will have a report and discussion with <br />commissioners at the August meeting (20min.) needed. <br />B.Karen W. Î Public Relations. Ads, which funded at end of the <br />must be given to the newspaper for coordination today. A list o <br />line ads, prepared by Patti B, was distributed to CommissionerÓs <br />changes. This needs to be given to Karen W. by the end of the meeting. <br />Suggest a domestic violence web sit be created by the FVAC. Nee <br />about liability issues. Perhaps, just an information web site. This will be placed <br />on the list of possible projects. <br />Theaters have ads on their screens. Karen W. to follow-up on details for next <br />meeting.
