In order to get this I will address <br />several issues , what I'll do, I'll ask questions in certain <br />areas and then when you have follow up questions, then we can <br />follow up in the end. Okay, let's take it one at a time. <br />Petitioner: I would just like to inquire Mr. Chairman... is it his idea that he's <br />going to assert the 5t" amendment on certain questions and then <br />next one he'll answer it and any other one he won't answer it, is <br />that the idea? I don't think that's too myself. <br />Kamelamela: Like I said, I'll ask the questions, and then you'll answer the follow <br />up to that area. <br />CHAIR: Specifically to that area? <br />Kamelamela: Yeah, to that area, yeah. <br />Petitioner: That's not fair... I don't want to be overly legalistic, but if he gets to <br />answer only what he wants to answer and he doesn't have to <br />answer things that I asked of him... that's fair to the public. Either <br />he gives up his right to the 5t" amendment or you don't. That's the <br />way it works. Maybe we can check with counsel... I don't know <br />what she thinks, but... <br />PKO: Well, I think it's not a trial... so the strict evidence rules don't apply <br />here, so... <br />WA <br />
