They were just recently <br />WJ: - -to your knowledge, was anyone on that list? To your knowledge, was anyone <br />on that list to be trained? <br />GILMAN: Right now, no. I didn't see or hear of a list at that time. <br />WJ: But there is a County trainer, right, that's provided to you. <br />GILMAN: Our supervisor has to put in a memo saying he wants these certain people to be <br />trained on certain equipment. <br />WJ: For a CDL? <br />GILMAN: For a CDL or <br />WJ: - -or just for that particular equipment? <br />GILMAN: It goes to non -CDL also, for like grass cutters, because that's another promotion. <br />Because we're all laborers, so from the laborers we've taken another step forward, <br />and when we do another step forward, to operate machines, we have to have a <br />trainer. And from the training, then after that we go through our audit. <br />WJ: And to your knowledge, who is that County trainer? <br />GILMAN: To my knowledge, it's Hiram Keliikoa. <br />AL: Is there only one County trainer? <br />GILMAN: Yes. That's what I believe <br />WJ: - -in the area in which you work at? <br />GILMAN: In our Department. <br />WJ: In your Department, is there only one trainer? <br />GILMAN: Yes, our Department. <br />KK: Is there any other way that you can get this training, besides from Mr. Keliikoa? <br />12 <br />
