HAWAII COUNTY BOARD OF ETHICS <br />MINUTES — REGULAR SESSION <br />January 10, 2007 <br />Hilo Lagoon Centre <br />101 Aupuni Street, Suite 325 <br />Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br />Present: Wayne Joseph, Chair (WJ) <br />Ann Lum, Vice Chair (AL) <br />Reeve Williams, Member (RW) <br />Kendall Sharpless, Member (KS) <br />Kerry Inouye, Member (KI) <br />Bobby Jean Leithead -Todd, Deputy Corporation Counsel (BLT) <br />Karen Delimont, Secretary (KD) <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br />The Chair called the meeting to order at 10:05 A.M. <br />2. STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON AGENDA ITEMS <br />There were no members of the public present. <br />Chair requested a motion to amend the Agenda to include the following: <br />(a) Communication 2007 -04 from Lincoln Ashida dated January 4, 2007 <br />regarding Hawaii County Code Section 2 -82; <br />(b) Communication 2007 -05 Memorandum from Lincoln Ashida dated <br />January 2, 2007 regarding HRS Chapter 487R; <br />(c) Financial Disclosures that were received after the posting of the Agenda. <br />Motion and Vote: Ms. Sharpless moved to amend the Agenda to include <br />Communication 2007 -04 and 2007 -05; Mr. Williams seconded the motion; all members <br />voted aye, motion carried. <br />Motion and Vote: Mr. Williams moved to defer the review of additional Financial <br />Disclosures until the next scheduled session; Mr. Inouye seconded the motion; all <br />members voted aye, motion carried. <br />
