COMMUNICATIONS <br />(a) Communication No. 2006 -109: The High Road No. 2006 -4, Hawaii State <br />Ethics Commission, December 2006. <br />Motion and Vote: Mr. Williams moved to accept and file Communication <br />No. 2006 -109; Ms. Lum seconded the motion; all members voted aye, motion carried. <br />(b) Communication No. 2007 -04: Letter from Lincoln Ashida dated January 4, <br />2007 regarding Hawaii County Code Section 2 -82. <br />Motion and Vote: Mr. Williams made a motion to accept and file Communication <br />2007 -04; Ms. Lum seconded the motion. <br />Discussion: <br />WJ: I wanted to allow time for Lincoln to come. <br />BLT: He went off to Salary Commission. <br />WJ: I was hoping to defer on these matters until he gave his presentation. <br />RW: Okay, I will retract my motion and move to defer. <br />AL: I will take back my second. <br />2 <br />
