The Commission looked at Appendix 7 of the 2007 annual report and considered how <br />they will set up the table for the Comprehensive List. <br />First column: List of properties alphabetized <br />Second column: TMK Number <br />Third column: Significance <br />Fourth column: Anticipated Use <br />Fifth column: Reason for Suggestion <br />Sixth column: Recommended County Action <br />Break at11: 37a. m. <br />Back on at 11: 47a. m. <br />Discussion and consideration of 4 submittals previously submitted. <br />The Commissioners discussed and scored the four properties regarding Communication <br />Numbers 08 -009, 07 -069, 07 -066 and 07 -065. <br />1. Puako Forest project = 69 average score <br />2. Multiple beaches below Ocean View = 27 average score <br />3. Entire coastline of Hawaii Island = Criteria is too large on scale <br />The Commission will not score the Punalu`u suggestion form since a Resolution has <br />already passed. <br />Break for lunch: 12: 26 p. m. <br />Back on: 1: 30 p.m. <br />Discussion and consideration to identify sites for field visits. <br />The Commission agreed that they would go on a site visit on September 22, 2008 to <br />site /field visits to Pa`o`o, Kukuipahu- Ha`ena Corridor, Mahukona Historical Area, <br />Kaiholena, `O`oma II, Puapua`a. They will have a short meeting in Kona at the Liquor <br />Conference room prior to leaving for their site visit. <br />Discussion and update of the Public Open Space alliance. <br />Ms. Garcia stated they had a meeting in Waimea with approximately 20 people in <br />attendance. A representative from DLNR was present. They worked on their mission <br />statement, organized 3 committees and discussed electing board of directors. Next <br />meeting is in October and they plan to meet every other month. <br />Adjourn: 3: 35 p. m. <br />2 <br />
