Hawaii Police Commission <br />Regular Session Minutes <br />June 30, 2011 <br />Page 2 <br />Commissioner Ono stated that he would like to form ad hoc committees but they need <br />to decide what subjects. He suggested a planning /support committee for the <br />commission which would develop plans for services, capital, and programs on a multi- <br />year basis. They could seek input from the Police Department and the public through a <br />series of public information meetings. The subjects and plans could be solidified after <br />getting input. They could also have target dates for completion. He would like to hear <br />from each commissioner about what they would like to see different in 2 -3 years and <br />what improvements could be made. <br />Chair Mende stated that committee reports will not be a regular agenda item unless <br />there is something to report, and Ms. Pelayo should be notified. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />Chair Mende announced that the Police Commission's next monthly meeting will be on <br />Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at 9:00 a.m., at the West Hawaii Civic Center, Building G <br />Conference Room, 74 -5044 Ane Keohokalole Highway, Kailua -Kona. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />The meeting was adjourned at 11:25 a.m. <br />SUBMITTED: <br />6!4e 2 --w <br />JOSIE PELAYO, SECRETARY <br />APPROVED: <br />DONN S.
