installed outside a building or a sewer manhole may be substituted <br />for this cleanout requirement. <br />Additional building sewer ceanouts shall be installed at intervals <br />not to exceed one hundred (100) feet in straight runs and for each <br />aggregate change in direction exceeding one hundred and thirty - <br />five (135) degrees." <br />(74) Adding Section 719,7. Section 719.7 is added to read: <br />"719.7 Cleanouts shall be installed immediately upstream of the <br />connection of the city sanitary sewer system in accordance with the <br />rules and regulations of the department of environmental <br />management, wastewater division. Cleanouts in sidewalk and <br />driveway areas shall be flush with the surface and shall be of cast <br />iron or brass body with brass plug." <br />(75) Amending Section 721.1. Section 721.1 is amended to read: <br />"721.1 No building sewer or private sewage disposal system or <br />parts thereof shall be located in any lot other than the lot which is <br />the site of the building or structure served by such sewer or private <br />disposal system. Provided, however, a building sewer or private <br />disposal system may be located on an abutting lot when <br />specifically required by the health officer or other department <br />having jurisdiction over sewage disposal and provided further that <br />a legal easement over the abutting lot is first obtained and the plans <br />are approved by the administrative authority." <br />(76) Amending Section 721.2. Section 721.2 is amended by amending the last two <br />sentences to read: <br />"Such an agreement shall be as a part of the conditions of <br />ownership of said properties and shall be binding on all heirs, <br />successors and assigns to such properties." <br />(77) Amending Section 722.2. Section 722.2 is amended by adding at its end: <br />"Exception: An abandoned cesspool may be used as an overflow <br />receptor for a sewage sump with pump discharge when approved <br />by the administrative authority." <br />(78) Amending Section 722.3.
