Section 1301.3 is amended by adding the <br />last sentence to read: <br />"The provisions of this Chapter on Medical Gas Systems shall be used as <br />REFERENCE ONLY, for the design and construction of Medical Gas <br />Systems. This section will not be regulated or enforced by the County of <br />Hawaii." <br />(12 1) Adding Section 1301.3. Section 1301.3 added to read: <br />"1301.3 Those facilities that do not provide twenty -four (24) hour <br />patient care shall not be required to provide alarm systems or <br />multiple supply sources for air, vacuum and gas systems." <br />(122) Amending Section 1303.1. Section 1303.1 is amended by adding: <br />"1303.1 Medical Gas Systems conforming to NFPA 99C -1993 <br />Gas and Vacuum Systems shall be deemed equivalent to meeting <br />the requirements of this chapter. (Medical Gas Systems are also <br />governed by Uniform Fire Code Section 74- 201.)" <br />40 <br />
