Concerns/issues brought forth are as follows: <br />40 <br /> <br /> <br />The Concurrency Zones are creating an essential moratorium for development. <br />41 <br /> <br /> <br />Kahului-Keauhou Parkway appears to have been put on hold indefinitely to address <br />42 <br />archeological sites. <br />43 <br /> <br /> <br />The financial capacity of the Developer to provide these proposed facilities and <br />44 <br />improvements and not just make the promise to get the approvals with the intension of <br />45 <br />coming back to the County to waive the requirements at a later date. <br />46 <br /> <br /> <br />That the Developer required roadway projects have been modified or eliminated from <br />47 <br />their change of zone conditions too easily <br />48 <br /> <br /> <br />The importance of the roadways identified within the KCDP by the community for not <br />49 <br />only transportation but also in regards to safety of the community. <br />50 <br /> <br /> <br />The AC may need be able to discuss with the Department of Public Works the status <br />51 <br />of the roadway projects affected by this proposed amendment. <br />52 <br /> <br /> <br />Amendments to the KCDP to modify parts to better implement the intent of the <br />53 <br />community are essential but need to be careful about what amendments are proposed. <br />54 <br />2.
