■ A mural depicting Honoli'i beach was completed in May 2010, in a joint effort between the East Hawaii Cultural Center and the Furlough Friday Kids. 7. Produce an Annual Report for County Administration, Planning Commission, County Council, Lead Solution Partners, funders, and the community. ■ The Envision Downtown Hilo 2025: A Community -Based Vision and Living Action Plan Progress Report, January 2009 — June 2010 was published in June 2010. 8. Work with the Planning Department to sustain the EDH 2025 Visioning and Implementation Process and recommend suggestions for an island - wide process. ■ The VisionKeepers presented The VisionKeepers' Guide to Implementing Your Community Plan to the Kona CDP Action Committee and the Puna CDP Action Committee. ■ The EDH 2025 Project Manager and Community Planning Assistant attended regular meetings with staff from the various district -wide community development plans. ■ Meetings were held with stakeholders and Lead Solution Partners to discuss the translation of the EDH 2025 Plan into regulatory language and recommendations for design patterns /guidelines. 9. Assist the Planning Department with guiding the community involvement process for updating the Living Action Plan every five years and Community Vision every 20 years. ■ See "Highlights" on page 2 for more information on the process for the EDH 2025: 5 Year - Action Plan Update. A draft is available on the EnVision Downtown Hilo 2025 Website, http : / /www.co.hawaii.hi.us /edh2025. ■ An fiction Plan Review Workshop was held on October 9, 2009 to review proposed changes to the fiction Plan, consider new strategies and actions, and prioritize strategies. ■ Meetings with Lead Solution Partners were held for each of the six Focus Areas to review changes and additions to the fiction Plan.
