several past members of both the VisionKeepers and the Friends of Downtown Hilo Steering <br />Committee. Instead of meeting monthly, we will meet as needed and communicate <br />electronically. This is both a cost - saving measure and a practical response to the challenges <br />associated with maintaining a volunteer committee over an extended period of time. The <br />Planning Department will continue to partner with the VisionKeepers Network in its efforts to <br />further the implementation of the EDH 2025 Plan, but the real impetus for the creation and <br />implementation of the EDH 2025 Plan is with the community. In that sense, we are all <br />VisionKeepers.
