Focus on Waimea CSE <br /> <br />Elaine Ventura <br /> <br />Waimea Senior Companion <br />Elaine Ventura <br /> <br />Elaine Ventura is a dedicated, compassionate Senior Companion who has been assisting <br />frail kupuna for the past four years. Elaine never refuses to assist the nine seniors she sees, <br />and treats all of them like her very own parents. Whenever she is not with the seniors, she is <br />caring for her husband and grandchildren. Occasionally, when she manages to finds some <br />spare time, she loves to garden. Darryl Noda, Waimea’s CSPA, feels blessed to be working <br />with exceptional senior companions. “Elaine is a great asset to the Senior Companion <br />Program….Much Mahalo Elaine! for your dedication and compassionate care.” <br /> <br />Elaine Ventura and Darryl Noda <br /> <br /> <br />Waimea’s CSE Community Service Program Assistant, Darryl Noda <br />Darryl Noda has been with Coordinated Service for the Elderly for seventeen years. Over the <br />years, he has worked at the Kona, Honoka‘a, and presently at the Waimea CSE office. <br />Darryl is always with a smile and enjoys joking with staff and seniors. He is willing to jump in <br />and assist the seniors in his district as well as other district staff, seniors, and programs. <br />Darryl sees his job as an adventure full of fun and challenges. Darryl can be reached at his <br />office at the Lily Yoshimatsu Senior Center in Waimea. His phone number is (808) 887-3008. <br /> <br />Senior Companion Luncheon <br />Coordinated Services for the Elderly, will be co-hosting a luncheon on April 20, 2011 in Kona <br />to recognize the wonderful work of the Senior Companions.
