Seniors of the Pahoa Nutrition Site <br />enjoyed their day at the Imiloa Astronomy <br />Center, especially the delicious buffet at the <br />Sky Garden Restaurant. <br />For many, it was their first visit to the <br />Astronomy Center - here they are gathered <br />for a group shot in the beautiful lobby, right <br />outside the planetarium. <br /> <br />Taking a break from their Rummikub game <br />in Na`alehu are from left, Margaret Callen, <br />Philip Barro, CSW Edie Manzano <br />Frazier, Mabel Kaipo, Sally Della Cruz, <br />Bert Nishimoto and Helen Tayamen. <br /> <br />The Hawai`i County Nutrition Program has <br />moved to the Aging and Disability Center <br />(ADRC) in Hilo. <br /> <br />Welcoming you to their new office are <br />Nutrition Director Joan Kawakone, Van <br />Driver Calvin Tsugawa, Community <br />Service Program Assistant Carla <br />Carpenter Kabalis, and Clerk Charline <br />Blanco (missing Debra Funai). <br /> <br />On the other side of the room, playing a <br />friendly game of (oops, hide the chips) are <br />Mary Spencer, Eunice Hashimoto, Edie, <br />(queen Akiu, Irene Kohara and <br />Prudencio "Andy" Tayamen. <br /> <br />Kupuna News 14 Information and Assistance (808) 961-8777 <br />
