For many years, Lito was a Program Planner with the Hawai‘i County <br />Office of Aging, and was the designated monitor for the Nutrition Program. <br /> <br />Lito has a Master’s Degree in Public Health, and used his expertise to make helpful <br />recommendations for our program, and also made sure that we met our Federal and <br />State contract requirements for both our meal sites and Meals on Wheels. <br /> <br />In his new job, Lito will be monitoring community programs on the Garden Island. <br />We wish him well. <br /> <br />FUN IN KAPAAU <br />Where are we? It’s Kapaau, at the tip of Kohala, where the original statue of King Kamehameha I stands. <br />The Kohala seniors welcomed Pāpa‘aloa for fun and ono food. <br /> <br />MIKE’S SPECIAL DAY <br />The Kula‘imano seniors said farewell to CSW Michael Barber in January.
