Senior Training & Employment Program <br /> <br />Clyde Yoshida, Program Director, (808) 961-8750 <br /> <br />The STEP assists eligible unemployed, low-income job seekers 55 and over in getting temporary but <br />current work experience to allow them to return to the workforce. Below are some of the enrollees’ <br />who have been successful in finding work after completing their training. From the top going clockwise <br />is Chiko Arakawa working for Downtown Improvement Association. After completing the Ground <br />Maintenance class at HCC Chiko has been instrumental in creating sustainable agriculture plantings <br />in Hilo town. Can you identify some of his creations?
