Plan Approval application requirements for agricultural tourism. Amends Section 25-2-76 <br />relating to Action on Plan Approval application. Amends Article 4, Division 1, Section 25-4-15 <br />relating to Use Regulations for agricultural tourism. <br /> <br />The Commission took this item up at12:43 a.m. with two people from the public in attendance. <br /> <br />(SEE EXHIBIT C) <br /> <br />MINUTES – At 1:01 p.m., the Commission took up the following: <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes of the May 2, 2013 meeting – It was moved by Commissioner Gonzales <br />and seconded by Commissioner Miyasato that the minutes be approved as circulated. Motion <br />was unanimously carried by a voice vote of all Commissioners in attendance. <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS – At 1:02 p.m., the Commission took up the following: <br /> <br /> <br />1.Status of applications heard by Windward Planning Commission that are pending before <br />County Council – Mr. Arai said he did not have any current information to present at this <br />time. <br /> <br />2.Status of Contested Case proceedings for Connections New Century Public Charter <br />School/CBESS Special Permit Application No. 12-000138 (SPP-12-138) – Mr. Arai said <br />Sandra Song who has been selected as the hearings officer will commence with the contested <br />case hearing procedure shortly, which would include a prehearing conference, as soon as the <br />Mayor signs the contract. He stated he will update the Commissioner as the contested case <br />procedure moves along. <br /> <br />3.Status of appeal filed regarding Windward Planning Commission’s approval of amendment <br />to SMA Use Permit No. 221, Applicant, Hu Honua- Corporation Counsel – Mr. Torigoe said <br />th <br />oral argument before Judge Nakamura is scheduled for June 14 and an update will be <br />provided to the Commission at a later date. <br /> <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS – Mr. Torigoe at this time extended his aloha to the Planning Commission <br />as he is retiring from the County. The Commission and staff wished him well and expressed <br />their appreciation for his dedicated service. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT – There being no further business, at 1:05 p.m., it was moved by <br />Commissioner Moses and seconded by Commissioner Henkel that the meeting be adjourned. <br />Motion was unanimously carried by a voice vote of all Commissioners in attendance. <br /> <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> <br /> Sharon M.
