Village Center Planning Materials and Supplies - $12,000 for meeting materials <br />and supplies needed to facilitate community - -based efforts to move forward <br />implementation activities. <br />3. Mountain View Gym - $5,714 for a durable and portable volleyball system for <br />indoor use. <br />4. PCDP AC Community Event - $5,000 to fund one or more community events <br />hosted by the AC to further promote community awareness and participation in <br />the PCDP process. <br />Although none of the GO Budget requests from the AC were included, all of the CIP <br />Budget items listed above were included in the Mayor's FY 2013 -14 budget proposal <br />which was approved by the County Council on May 30. <br />2. Guidance and Advocacy <br />During the course of this reporting period the AC reviewed a variety of land use permit <br />applications, environmental studies and agency project proposals within the PCDP <br />planning area and provided comments to the Planning Director and/or appropriate agency <br />on the consistency of the project being proposed with the goals and objectives of the <br />PCDP. written comments were submitted by the AC on the following: <br />Environmental Studies <br />Pre - Assessment Consultation comments for Pahoa Village Shopping Center & <br />Related Roadway Improvements (Kuwahara project) <br />Pre - Assessment Consultation and Draft EA comments for Pahoa Park Expansion <br />Master Plan (Dept. of Parks &Recreation) <br />Pre - Assessment Consultation comments for a proposed electrolyzer -based hydrogen <br />system at Puna Geothermal to support mass transit agency hydrogen fueled buses <br />(Hawai'i Natural Energy Institute) <br />Chan 2e of Zoning AiDplications <br />0 Aguinaldo 4, LLC, REZ 12 -159 <br />• B.T.
