<br />Call to Order: 5:35 p.m.

<br />Approval of Minutes as Circulated: Unanimously approved
<br />Old Business:
<br />Update on Emergency Response Mapping Workshops
<br />• Emergency Evacuation Mapping Training Workshops: Report on
<br />Saturday, July 13, 2013, 10:00 a.m. -Noon, Keaau Community Center:
<br />20 people attended. Subdivisions /Areas Represented: Hawaiian
<br />Beaches, Hawaiian Shores, Kaohe Farm Lots, Ainaloa, Volcano
<br />Village, Hawaiian Paradise Park, Peck Road, Seaview Estates, Kapoho
<br />Beach Lots, Orchidland, Hawaiian Acres.
<br />Content: Overview of PREP Fair, potential Big Island hazards, and
<br />maps to be used in Emergency Evacuation Mapping activity.
<br />Workshop used to train Emergency Mapping Facilitators for fair to
<br />help others with mapping. Marlene Hapai, Stephanie Bath
<br />• Saturday, August 3, 2013, 10:00 a.m. — Noon, KCC — all CER
<br />Subcommittee members and others recommended to attend. Sign up
<br />sheet circulated.
<br />2. Update on Puna Regional Emergency Preparedness (PREP) Fair
<br />1. Facilities and Planning — Map of Keaau HS area to be used
<br />including Gym, Cafetorium, Covered Playcourt, Covered
<br />Walkways, Classrooms, Grassy Area and Parking Lots shown
<br />and explained to subcommittee. Marlene Hapai, Bill Hanson
<br />2. Communications — Invitations to Presenters, track responses
<br />including needs for the day (Patti Pinto, Hannah Hedrick,
<br />Marlene Hapai, Bill Hanson) — Presenter Requirement forms
<br />due July 31, 2013
<br />Fundraising /Sponsors — Marlene Hapai, Patti Pinto, Jerry
<br />Reiss, Bill Hanson, Stephanie Bath — requests out to local
<br />businesses and Puna Councilmen. Approximately 40
<br />businesses contacted with 10 responding thus far. Hilo and
<br />Pahoa areas still needing contact. June Conant took forms for
