The Seniors had an awesome experience and took in a wide variety of information. <br /> <br />We would also like to thank all of the teams that came out to participate in our 2013 Kupuna Softball League. <br />This year’s season was fun and enjoyable to all that played. <br /> <br />Call our offices at: Hilo 961-8710, Kea‘au 966-5801 and Kona 323-4330 for more information about our <br />programs, or visit us online at http://www.hawaiicounty.gov. <br /> <br /> <br />‘Imiloa “Kupuna Day” <br />The ‘Imiloa “Kupuna Day” event held on August 22, 2013. 250 Seniors from East and West Hawai‘i enjoyed <br />a day full of exciting activities connecting with the ‘Imiloa experience, service organizations, UHH, meeting <br />friends old and new. Experiencing the “Awesome Lights” planetarium show, entertainment by Paul Neves, <br />‘Imiloa Bingo, hands-on experiences with Lina's coconut weaving magic, Aunty Doreen's Lei Hulu feather <br />flowers, Lauhala bracelets & stars, UHH blood pressure and foliage printing completed this full day of fun. <br /> <br />Kupuna News 5 October-December 2013 <br /> <br />
